The Research Center for Kaohsiung-Pingtung-Penghu Regional Transport Development, National Sun Yat-sen University (hereinafter referred to as the Center) was established under the “Academia to Establish Research Center for Regional Transport Development under the MOTC Subsidy Program”.

Transportation is the vessel of urban operation, and it is closely related to people's convenience and life. Therefore, since the establishment of the center, we have paid long-term attention to regional transport sustainability, development and innovation related issues.

In order to solicit opinions from all walks of life and encourage young scholars to devote themselves to writing high-quality transportation papers, the Center has organized the 2nd Seminar for Kaohsiung-Pingtung-Penghu Regional Transport Development and Doctoral Dissertation Competition on 30th Dec Friday, 2019.

In order to cover both theoretical and practical development, two groups were set: the Transport Practice Group and the PhD group. The Transportation Practice Group invites public and private departments related to transportation in Gao, Ping and Peng region to contribute, and the distinguished guests to comment and share their thoughts;The master and doctoral group welcomes masters and doctoral students to explore and contribute on transportation related issues in Kaohsiung-Pingtung-Penghu area.
